Bible Studies
Women of Grace offers Bible studies on Tuesday mornings from 9:30–11:15 (previously 11:45) and Thursday evenings from 6:45-8:30 from September through May. We believe that prayerfully reading, discussing and applying scripture is God’s desire for us and how He communicates with us, and doing so in a group setting enables us to learn from each other, hold each other accountable and enjoy fellowship and friendship in the process.
Fall semester classes will be held from September 13 through December 15. Register online or by mail using the links below.
Our Bible study coordinators are Jeanne Botzler and Kelly Carlstrom, both of whom are available to provide more specific information, answer your questions and welcome you to Bible study. Please consider joining us!
Exploring the Old Testament: A Guide to the Prophets
One semester study
For many Christians, the Minor Prophets can seem distant and incomprehensible. This study shows how these ancient prophets still speak to believers today. By exploring each book’s theme in the context of history and revelation, you’ll learn how the prophets speak to you today. Though the books may be minor in length, they are major in the truths they teach, including: the majesty of God, courage and hope, injustice and judgment, trusting and loving God, and many other spiritual precepts. This study helps you discover Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habbakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. This study has a medium amount of homework, mainly scripture reading and personal application.

First Corinthians: A Love and Wisdom Unlike Any Other
A full year study
How can we resolve conflict with other people? How do our passions affect our relationships? How can we live in a way that builds harmony and glorifies God? Ours is a world in which relationships are marked by strife, confusion and pain-even among Christians. Our passions can contribute to conflict, too, unless they’re controlled. In 1 Corinthians, God gives us the cure: the cross of Christ. He speaks of having the mind of Christ, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and being a spiritual woman of God. Discover how you can experience this in your own life and encourage it in the life of others. This study has a medium amount of homework, mainly scripture reading and personal application.
Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry meets during Bible studies on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings for a small additional fee. Women of Grace seeks caregivers who would be willing to use their hearts and hands to minister to children while their moms participate in Bible studies. If you would like to serve in this capacity, or have questions about the child care provided, please contact Mary Gudeman at [email protected].
