A Women of Grace Welcome
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Do you ever feel like a court jester trying to keep all the balls in the air or all the plates spinning without even one crashing to the ground? As women, it can be a real challenge to balance our work, family, personal and spiritual lives. There are never enough hours in the day and we might find ourselves at the bottom of the “to do” list. Or not even on it. Amid the chaos and the distraction of life in the new millennium, we women may find ourselves spiritually withered like branches separated from the vine. We want to bear fruit, right? But how, when we are weary ... or lonely ... or just don't know where to start?
Women of Grace. That's a great place to start, in our humble opinion, because you are very likely to encounter women just like yourself, and some not so like you too, who are bound by the one truth that we have a Savior, God's only Son, who lived and died for each one of us. Yes, we are in different life stages and have different lifestyles, but that's what makes the world go 'round, and there's so much to learn from each other. Through Women of Grace we hope to forge a connection to Jesus and to each other. This might include studying scripture, attending an evening event or weekend retreat, or joining in prayer and fellowship. That first step can be a big one, but it's oh-so worth it.
Feel free to contact either of us with any questions, suggestions, concerns, or just to say hello (We'd love that!). Diann can be reached at [email protected] and Sarah at [email protected].
